Wind: calm
Sea: calm Swell: nil
Weather: clear, warm
My shore-side routine continues; a bit of boat maintenance, a bit of model-building and some socialising. This coming week I have a friend coming to pay me a visit for a week and we plan on going for a sail around the Gulf depending on which way the wind blows. In preparation for our sail, this afternoon I broke out the hooker gear and went over the side to give the hull a clean. For the most part the bottom was pretty good though the prop is starting to foul and there was a bit of growth around the rudder and along the bottom of the keel. Fortunately the water is quite warm so scrubbing the bottom was not too onerous a chore.
All is well.
