Final Leg - for now.
Position: Off Narooma
At a little after noon and a little before high water, we weighed anchor in a gusty south-easterly and motored out of Wagonga Inlet. Outside we met a lumpy sea and a fresh breeze. Even with Kate’s help it took a while to get the mainsail up with two reefs. But once the main was up we bore away from the wind, turning our bows north for the final leg back to Wollongong.
We run square before the fresh breeze making good a bouncy six plus knots.
All is well.
