This morning was calm so we waited.  By eleven o’clock a light breeze had picked up, so we sailed.  The breeze remained light but steady throughout the rest of the day and we managed to work our way  up Moreton Bay and at sunset fetched up at an anchorage off a place called Kounungai on Moreton Island, at least that is what it is called on my chart.  There is nothing ashore except a couple of very large sand blows.  Maybe I will attempt to explore one of them tomorrow.

My plan is to remain in Moreton Bay until Sunday, when it looks like some southerlies are due.  Hopefully they will whisk us up the coast a ways and into the Southeast trade winds.

All is well.
