Position: 37 09.69 S 139 49.99 E Throughout the daylight hours of yesterday, the wind remained lighter than expected, nonetheless, by midnight it had filled in from the northeast allowing Sylph to close reach at a steady six knots. This she kept up until our arrival off Robe at 1300. We handed sail and motored in through the shoaling entrance to Robe harbour, Kate standing in the bow pointing to deep water thereby avoiding the grounding we experienced the last couple of time we have attempted to enter Robe harbour. We are now settled alongside. All is well. |
