Niue has certainly been one of the most enjoyable stops I have had for quite a while, largely due to the friendship and hospitality of Ira and Brian, the new caretakers of the Niue Yacht Club. After making my farewells this morning I returned to Sylph, stowed the dinghy on deck, secured for sea and got away just before midday. It is only 203 miles to Va'vau, our next stop so with luck we should be there on Friday, hopefully in time to clear in before the weekend descends upon us. It is looking good so far with a gentle breeze from the north making for a very pleasant sail and a steady five knots.

All is well.
