We have continued to make good progress and, thanks to the good old BoM*, ‘The Plan’ remains on track. As of noon today we have 44 nm to go to Port Phillip Heads. The winds are easing and later today will swing back into the SW which, now that we are past Wilsons Promontory, is OK. So … I reckon that we should be arriving at the Heads around midnight which, by my calculations, should be pretty much right on slack water. Seeing as the tidal stream though Port Phillip Heads can be a little on the strong side, this is good news.

Now, let us see if our luck holds out.

All is well
