At last the rain has stopped and the sun is shining. Late yesterday conditions became suitable for removing the rudder; I wasted no time getting it off I had the aluminium tab ready to go, it was a simple matter of drilling six holes, screwing the tab on and then remounting the rudder. So that is now done. It needs some more work to fair it in properly but I will do this once I am satisfied that it is working OK.

The laundry is done and the forecast looks good for tomorrow, a bit on the light side but we will see when we get out there. Hopefully the wind vane will perform better over the next leg. Fingers crossed.

All is well.
