At long last Sylph is at sea again. My brother John is with me and the conditions are perfect for young Robinson Crusoe to get his sea legs. He is looking around at everything rather suspiciously, his home is all of a sudden leaning over and moving around a little bit which he has not experienced before, but he will adjust quickly enough I am sure.
The plan is to head down to Kangaroo Island where my sailing friend Mark and his boat Starfire may join us on Saturday. Conditions are forecast to be light and variable. Right now we have a gentle southerly, a head wind but the seas are flat and Sylph is making good a very comfortable five knots. Our ETA Kingscote is sometime tomorrow afternoon.
All is well.
