Noon Position: 36 13.8 S 150 14.0 E At 1030 we weighed anchor, motored out the Wagonga Inlet entrance against the flooding tide and across its barred mouth then, once clear, set sail. The wind is in the south, a headwind, but is forecast to back into the east and then north later in the day. So, for now, we work our way against the wind inside of Montague Island. A couple of humpback whales and some dolphins have welcomed Sylph’s return to their domain. Next stop, Tasmania. At least that’s the plan. All is well. |
