A better day today, got some painting done.

Mediocrity sucks, but, unfortunately, by definition, that is what most of us must accept. Roger lent me a video, “Life on Earth“, wonderful stuff! Undoubtedly most of the rest of the planet has seen it but I hadn’t. In it there is a bird of paradise putting on a fantastic display, but it fails to attract a female and David Attenborough in his soft smooth sonorous voice says, “It’s hard when you best just isn’t good enough”. For some of us it seems attracting and keeping a mate is hard work. Fortunately life also has other rewards.

All is well.
