Wind: Calm
Weather: sunny cool

Today was a beautiful clear sunny day, perfect for getting a few chores done. In the morning I finished repairing the jib which is now rehoisted and ready to go. Also completed a minor repair to the windvane.

This afternoon I joined the Persimmons for a dinghy ride in search of some hot springs which the fishermen had reported as being at the head of Estero Cono. We didn’t find the springs but enjoyed a picnic in the sunshine on a patch of rocky beach anyway.

Tomorrow the winds are forecast to be fresh from the north which is fine by me as I still have a number of small jobs I wish to complete before we get underway, though I sense that Ian is getting a little toey to be on his way.

All is well.

The fish shortage continues, but at least all is quiet which suits me just fine … zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.
