We continue to make good progress though the winds are starting to become more fitful. Last night I resorted to the drifter for a while, when the winds were so light that I was tempted to motor. The calm only lasted an hour, and as the horizon glowed orange with the dawn, we were broad reaching to a moderate north-east breeze. That has since faded somewhat and now we roll with a jerky motion to a short beam sea, with the mainsail slatting occasionally in light breeze.
All is well.
