Exams Completed
Moored Sandy Bay, Hobart This week I finished my final exam for this semester’s studies so now I can shift my focus to other things, especially boat things. Last night I had dinner on board a flash plastic boat with Andrew Huntington and his partner, Narelle. It turns out he owned the Koonya that I took a photo of and posted to my blog two weeks ago. Our paths had crossed in Scotland some nine years ago, though we never actually met up. So that oversight has now been corrected. Thank you Andrew and Narelle for a pleasant and convivial evening. I hope that I will be able to return your hospitality soon in Sylph VI’s somewhat more modest saloon. Today I unpacked the port cockpit locker and did some de-rusting on the hull. Tomorrow I will paint. And, we continue to await the arrival of Mark Sinclair – not expected until early to mid-December. So, between now and then, as well as getting some maintenance done, I shall likely explore the D’entracasteaux Channel and surrounds. All is well.
