Maintenance tasks continue.

The port side deck and fore deck have been repainted and I have started patching up the fore end of the coach-house roof. I have also been lucky enough to have a friendly diesel mechanic from a neighbouring boat take a quick look at the BRM and I am pleased to report that he was able to say that it does not have a serious compression problem. He suggests I continue to look at possible air in the fuel lines and the glow plugs, as Bones suggested. So that is a task to pursue in the next few days. Thank you Andrew for your assistance.

I have made a booking for the Squadron slipway and hope to be going up later in the week when a cradle becomes available. So between now and then I need to get organised with respect to purchasing most of the materials I will need to start work as soon as we are out of the water.

Today, having applied some primer to the fore deck in the forenoon, I will be meeting up with my brother, John, and my sister, Jenny, at the Largs Pier Hotel for lunch. So we are making the most of our time here in Adelaide.

All is well.
