The last 24 hours have been uneventful, just the way I like it. Apart from dropping the jib pole late yesterday afternoon to go from quarter run to a beam reach, and the occasional tweak of the windvane to keep us on course, I have had to do nothing except brush and feed the cat, keep a lookout, eat, sleep and read. I even watched a video, courtesy of Suuhaa, to pass the time.

I am hoping that the wind will remain favourable for the next couple of days at least, but there is a low pressure system to the south of us which is tracking east and may well bring contrary winds. With this in mind my plan is to stay east of the rhumb line and have some room to bear away a bit if the wind starts to head us. As usual, we shall have to wait to find out what actually happens. For now we are enjoying some nice sailing, and it feels good to have some miles behind us.

All is well.
