Noon Position: 37 48.3 S 149 31.8 E It was a dark and stormy night ... but the wind was behind us and the tall waves had Sylph surfing along, so we have we have made good time. Now the worst of it is past, the gale is done, and we are running before a fresh breeze wing on wing, sun shining, the sea a white flecked deep royal blue. The wind is forecast to ease and shift into the north later tonight but by then I hope to be snug at anchor in a cove so named off Eden. All is well. |
