Wind Northwest F3-4 gentle to moderate breeze
Weather: Overcast, mild
Days Run: 90 miles.

The breeze was very light overnight, from the east, but the seas were smooth and the swell was long and low so we were able to carry sail throughout the night, running wing on wing. I am not sure whether the wind vane was actually doing anything but despite the very light airs we managed to maintain the semblance of a course heading in the right direction. Today the wind has gradually freshened from the northwest and we are beam reaching at a very comfortable six to seven knots, back to Valparaiso, there to collect the replacement credit card, hopefully it will be there when we arrive, and other exciting surprises.

All is well.
