My first week alongside has been taken up with catching up with family and friends, though regrettably a COVID infection in the family has required some of the former to be postponed.

I have also wasted no time in getting stuck into getting Sylph ready for her next voyage, wherever that might take us. In particular, I have been working on getting the engine fixed. With the help of friend, Julian, we lifted the engine out of the boat on Thursday and it has now been stripped down ready to be taken to an engine reconditioning centre first thing tomorrow.
And Oli, the ship's cat, returns tomorrow night.

All is well.
