After umming and ahhing for a while this morning, putting my finger in the air to see which way the wind blew and my inclination took me I decided to return to the village. Sea Fable was moving back to the northern end of the lagoon preparatory to their departure to another lagoon tomorrow so I was going to run out of company and after my little run in with the coral head two days before I did not feel in the mood for any more excitement for now. In any event I have another dive booked for tomorrow. Thus as 9.45 I weighed anchor and without starting the motor allowed Sylph to rift out between the coral heads then hoisted the mainsail, set the jib and we were away with Sea Fable not far astern.

It has been a very pleasant and uneventful sail. Sea Fable being a smaller boat we slowly left behind and I saw then head into anchor at about 3 pm while we continued on. I was not so worried about hitting any more coral heads as we getting back towards Tiputa where we were retracing our outbound track and the area around the pass was well charted.

Now we are back at anchor very close to where we were three days ago.

All is well.
