The wind remained light to non-existent for most of last night. We sailed when we could but mostly drifted with the sails handed while Sylph rolled, at times sharply, in the short south westerly swell. We now have some breeze at last, arriving only moments ago; a headwind, as expected, which is forecast to build to about 20 knots by late this afternoon. At least we are moving, even if not quite in the direction I would like.
Now, back to Chaucer and his friends.
All is well.
