South Australian Waters
Noon Position: 37 57.4 S 140 19.0 E We now have quite a bit of wind, all from abaft the beam which has made for an excellent days run of 140nm, an average of almost six knots. I have the feeling that whenever we are in Australian waters, the run to Adelaide is something of an annual commute for us. Certainly we have crossed this path numerous times now, though I do not think we have ever had such a long continuous run as this before, pretty much non-stop from Hobart, apart from a night spent at anchor outside Denison Canal. If the weather forecast proves correct, we should be in Adelaide sometime Tuesday morning. All is well. |
