Waiting

At anchor Port Blanche Our stay in Streaky Bay has been relaxing and reasonably productive, enjoying a jog along the foreshore followed by a swim first thing most mornings, doing a bit of maintenance in the forenoon, then doing nothing much in particular in the afternoon and evening. Kelly and I enjoyed a meal together on last Tuesday and intend to do so again tonight. Kelly will be continuing north tomorrow and, if all goes well, I will be continuing south on Saturday when a break in the SE winds is expected. The forecast is for light and variable winds on Saturday followed by moderate to fresh SW'lies on Sunday lasting for a few days. SW winds will mean a close reach but if there is more south in it, then it will be a bash to windward. I will aim to get as far as we can, otherwise, if the wind is on the nose, will seek shelter somewhere. All is well. |
