Since 13.50 yesterday we have been reaching to a fresh to strong S’ly breeze.
With the wind and sea on the beam, Sylph has rolled, lunged, and lurched her way across the last 164 miles of ocean with liberal lashings of spray over the decks, and I have basically been doing little more than hanging on.
All this corkscrewing is not doing my old back a lot of good.
But the wind does appear to be moderating and it is forecast to veer into the SW later this afternoon, so hopefully the motion will improve a bit, a long with my back and my mood.
All is well.
