We have spent the last week catching up with my brother Michael and his daughters, Kaylah and Ella, as well as making the most of our alongside time by getting some much needed boat chores done, in particular attending to some spots of rust on deck.  This morning, having completed a week alongside, we sailed out to Magnetic Island where we will relax and continue a few chores while awaiting for my brother, John, and his wife, Cathy, to arrive in Townsville on the 2nd of August.  Our plan is to return to Breakwater Marina on the 31st of July to continue some family bonding (as well as a bit more boat maintenance), after which we will continue north for a bit.

PS.  A sign on shore here at Horseshoe Bay says that James Cook originally named the island Magnetical Island, and Wikipedia tells me that it was named Yunbenun before that.

All is well.
