Alongside Ushuaia It didn’t rain today so out with the paint pots again. I am looking around for rust spots and there aren’t very many to treat - hooray! But under the cabin sole is another story. Next! This afternoon I climbed the mast to change the anchor light bulb and while up there checked the rigging - not good - found three broken strands on the forestay, so change two to the Patagonia itinerary, I am not going to go very far with suspect rigging. There are no rigging lofts in Ushuaia and I haven’t thought of a solution to this problem yet but we will work something out. One of my rules is never plan further ahead then absolutely necessary, it is largely a waste of effort. All is well. Bob Cat: Maybe some of my philosophy is actually rubbing off on the skipper. Planning ahead? I get tired just thinking about . . . . zzzzzzzzz. |
