Course: South by west 5 knots
Wind: East nor' east, gentle breeze
Weather: Partly cloudy, warm, humid
Day's Run: 123 miles
Another good steady run - Sylph quietly pushes south, we will reach the doldrums very soon. The equator is 600 miles away, the other side of which we haven't seen since 2003, and will be BC's first foray into the southern hemisphere.
Southern hemisphere, so will the blood rush to my head, any cooler down there? Another hot, hot day. Why doesn't the skipper turn the air-conditioning on, is not this the 21st century? Too hot to move . . . . Zzzzzzz.
