Noon Position: 36 14.1 S 150 10.4 E
We rounded Gabo Island at 1900, earlier than I expected as the wind filled in from the SW in the afternoon and we enjoyed a good run along the Victorian coast. We continue to make excellent time with the wind now fresh from the south allowing Sylph to run wing-on-wing before it. At noon we were abeam Montague Island leaving only 150 miles to go to old Sydney town. So, if the wind holds, which it is forecast to do, in fact there is a strong wind warning out (Sylph just loves a strong wind from astern), then we should arrive late tomorrow.
All is well.
