I didn’t get much done today. I put a spot of primer on some bare metal patches on deck during a spot of sunshine and five minutes after I’d finished a heavy shower passed over. I shall probably have to do it all again.

During a late break in the weather I started on the bit of rust in the cockpit coaming.  It is in behind a cleat, so first I removed the cleat then took the angle grinder to it. This it what it now looks like:

When I get another break in the weather I will have a go at welding it up. Should be fun.
