At anchor off Lady Barren, Flinders Island
Wind: West.   F4: moderate breeze
Sea: slight. Swell: nil
Weather: overcast, showers, mild.

Yesterday, with a front coming through, we sought shelter back at anchor off Lady Barren.  Once again it was a windless day and required us to motor all the way back. Overnight, as forecast, the front came through and winds gusted up to maybe twenty knots. More fresh winds are forecast for today, and rain.  However, looking ahead, the next couple of days is likely to be the best opportunity to cross Bass Strait for at least a week So the plan is to get under way very shortly.

All is well.
