For the last 24 hours we have had a fair wind and following sea and have made good a distance of 118 miles all in the right direction. Now we are entering Golfo Corvocado and I hope to get to anchor later tonight. There is a fair bit of traffic about so I need to keep a good lookout and will have to keep this entry short (did I hear a sigh of relief?!). It sure has been a magic day, haven’t had to wear foul weather gear all day, have been able to put things down for more than a second or two without worrying about them flying off somewhere, and I have actually dried out a bit.

Today I concluded happiness is our normal state but every now and then we need to suffer misery, torment or severe illness to realize we are happy.

All is well.

Bob Cat:

Yes, definitely a much better day, not quite magic but I did score a can of tuna, now that was a magic moment. And I also need to keep this short, still have a lot of catching up to do … zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.
