Sunshine and a Fair Breeze
Course: East nor' east, Speed 4 knots
Wind: south, F3 gentle breeze
Weather: sunny and cool
Day's run: 86 nm
Over the last 24 hours the wind has gradually increased and veered into the south. At 22.00 last night it freshened sufficiently to drop the drifter and set the jib, and this morning, at 11.00, the wind has veered sufficiently to require the jib to be poled out to starboard so as not to be blanketted by the mainsail.
The sun is shining and the wind is fair. We have made a good day's run and tomorrow's should be better. Sylph is happy.
All is well.
