Position: Off Mohammedia, Morocco
Course: Southwest, Speed: 2 knots
Wind: West, gentle breeze .
Weather: Partly cloudy, warm

After paying our bills at the marina and collecting our papers from the Port
Captain we eventually got going just before midday. There wasn't much wind
so we motored clear of the harbour and then drifted for a while under the
drifter. A little wind has picked up, I was dozing in the cool of the
cockpit and was alerted to it when I heard the prop shaft free wheeling as
we started to make way through the water. Not much wind but enough to keep
the sails full, just, and the boat moving though a short swell from the west
is not helping our progress. I expect by evening we will be drifting again.
Only 3,200 miles to Brazil.
Happy Birthday Sam.

All is well.

Bob Cat:

I am still recovering from the skipper's poor taste last night. When I am
back to my normal good natured self I may have something to say. For now . .
. Zzzzzzz. Ugh, oh, hmm, yes, Happy Birthday Sam. Where was I? . . . Zzzzzzz.
