The sun was shining, no rain, so an outdoor day today sanding the waterline and fairing the welds of the hull repair. Ian, skipper of Persimmon, dropped by for a social call on his way through Puerto Montt providing a nice diversion for an hour. He came to town by ferry and bus to collect some hardware and is doing a little sight seeing over the next couple of days before returning to Persimmon which is still at the marina on Isla Chiloe.

Rain forecast for tomorrow - an indoor day.

All is well.

Bob the Cat:

Just to clarify some confusion that seems to have crept into my section of the blog, my name is Bob and I am a domestic cat (felis catus of the Filadae family), not a Bobcat (lynx rufus, also of the of the Filadae family), so properly my title is Bob the Cat. Glad that is sorted, somebody has been getting lazy around here.

The stinking fumes resembling the horrible Stygian smoke of the pit that is bottomless have subsided (no apologies to King James 1), and maybe it was a holiday at the industrial site today, all was quiet, indeed apart from the marginal culinary situation, today was pretty good for a …. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.
