Wind: SSW F3 Sea: slight Swell: SW 1 meters
Weather: sunny, mild
Day’s run: 100 nm
The wind has remained light and steady over the last 24 hours allowing us to make good progress. During the forenoon the wind backed into the SSE so I dropped the pole, but now it has veered back to the SSW, so the pole is back up and Sylph continues to run wing-on-wing. With a little luck we should round Cape Farewell and enter Golden Bay late tomorrow.
And all of Oli’s claws have now been delethalised. Hopefully this will make him something of a less prickly companion. (I wish it were so easy to remove my prickles.)
All is well.
