Wind: mostly light and variable
Weather: mostly sunny
We are still here in Melbourne, waiting for a suitable weather window to open up so we can continue east. It would appear that at this time of year the high pressure systems tend to stay well south, directing an easterly air stream through Bass Strait, but it looks like we might get a break about mid next week. I will probably head to the southern end of Port Phillip on Monday or Tuesday to preposition for our break out.
In the meantime it is the usual ships routine, a spot of maintenance, some reading and study, and the special treat is to visit my brother and his family on a regular basis, which has been very nice.
All is well.
