Day’s Run (so far)

A quick one tonight just to let everyone know that everything is OK. Got away from Puerto Tamar at first light after hauling in 50 meters of chain, a good workout for the thighs and arms. The wind was light and we motored around the western end of Isla Tamar then drifted for a while until the forecast soutwesterly arrived - a following breeze, hooray! We have been running square with the jib poled out all afternoon, very rare around here when heading north, and the forecast is for gentle to moderate southwesterlies for the rest of the night. It seems too good to waste so I am going to sail overnight until the wind changes or I run out of large scale charts - not far off..

All is well.

Still no tuna, a calm day, nought else to do but … zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.
