Position: 27 47.20 S 153 22.62 E We enjoyed a peaceful night at anchor and, with the crew well rested, we got underway at 0700 with the rising tide to motor up the channels inside South Stradbroke Island. Three hours later we have tied up to the pontoon outside the Harrington Irish Pub with a view to having a meal here tonight. The dock is only supposed to be for short term tie-ups but we figure we shouldn’t be upsetting too many people on a Monday evening. When the pub opens Kate will go in and charm them with her irresistible smile and good humour while Oli and I stay well out of sight. All is well. |
