The wind, the centre of a sailor's universe, remained light overnight making for an average day's run. It also backed and veered a little, requiring a gybe at midnight to stay off the coast, and another one just before midday in order to close it again. Now it has freshened and Sylph's speed is back up to five knots.
The Golden Gate is less than 90 miles away. Tomorrow.
All is well.
