As we make our way further south, closer to the equator, the wind has eased and, as one would expect, the temperature is getting warmer. Yesterday I gave Sylph her full headsail and, after a peaceful night, this morning I shook out the last reef in the main. The seas have eased, the white-caps are scattered and sparse; the swell is smooth and even; the clouds cumulus, numerous but small.
2,205 nm to Fiji, 3,955 to Sydney.
All is well.
