Today, a little to my surprise, the injection pump arrived. It has now been fitted and the engine is running. I am also pleased to say that the stye in my eye has resolved itself. So, Sylph and I are pretty much ready for sea.

A low pressure system passed through this afternoon bringing strong winds and rain. A gale warning is extant for tomorrow but the winds are expected to be easing tomorrow evening, and they are from a favourable direction for heading north. So, given that Sylph and I are pretty much ready for sea, and that the wind will be fresh from a favourable direction, the plan is to ensure that Sylph and I are fully ready for sea and then if by tomorrow afternoon conditions look favourable, to continue north.
