At anchor Hobsons Bay
Wind: SW F3, gentle breeze
Weather: sunny, cool

We eventually made it to anchor at 10 pm last night after a long, but mostly pleasant sail. Last night the tail of a cold front passed through, the wind freshened and swung in to the south west which caused us to roll around quite a bit for a while with a small sea wrapping around the southern end of Point Gellibrand, but it was only a source of minor discomfort, RC was clearly unimpressed as he shuffled around under the covers trying to stop himself from rolling out of the bunk, and nothing to worry about.

This morning I was woken by some Melbournean fitness fanatics, out for an early morning paddle in their kayaks, shouting at one another as the passed close by either side of Sylph on their way back to the small boat club which is nestled on the beach a few hundred meters away.

The sun is shining, for now (this is Melbourne after all).

All is well.
