My satellite phone is not active at the moment as it is not worth the expense for what is mostly a coastal passage, consequently I am relying on my phone for internet access.  This means that for some legs of this passage we will be out of range of the cell phone towers, which is going to happen between Backstairs Passage and Robe.  I will write up my blog at the usual time (around 1300 local time) but we maybe out of phone range by then and likely to be so for the next 24 hours or so, subject to weather.  I am posting this now so that no one worries if I go off-line for a bit – just in case.
