Today has been another quiet day with little to report. I read what I had written last night, and unsurprisingly decided it needed a big rewrite before submitting to the course's online discussion forum.

This afternoon I went for a short walk and discovered an old castle in the middle of town, the walls of which were quite interesting. They were pieced together with very close fitting odd shaped pieces of large stone, like a complex jig saw puzzle where no two pieces were the same. It must have taken a lot of time and work to cut the stones to fit together so well.

Tomorrow we sail, next stop Hirado.

All is well.
