Another slow 24 hours with only 66 miles run. (Now that we are crossing oceans again and not having to report into the Chilean Armada I have reverted to updating Sylph’s blog at noon.) The wind deserted us completed at one this morning and I handed sail to drift until seven when the breeze returned. The breeze is still very light but we are making good three knots. I expect these conditions will continue over the next several days unitl we get a bit further out into the more consistent trades.
