The last couple of days I have been hampered with a cold, consequently work progresses slowly. Nonetheless the forecast is for a few clear days starting tomorrow, indeed today was pretty good, so I have put some finishing touches to the topsides and with luck will get the first coat of topcoat on tomorrow.

And I started welding up the cockpit coaming. My welding rods are sticking making for a pretty poor job so far. One of my neighbours, David, is an engineer and knows a bit about welding.  He advised me that my rods are probably damp so I will stick them in the oven for a bit before having another go.

All is well.
