We left Bergen under torrential rain, thunders and lightning. We are heading south to a secluded anchorage. “Godøysundet”. As usual wind on the nose but at least no rain, just a few drizzles once in a while. Heavy traffic route with bog ships and ferries.
As per our daily routine we had kofkof at 11:00 with “Kanelensnurror” (cinnamon swirl).
Motoring gets boring so meals are the highlight of the route. Today’s lunch: “Pasta med kjøttboller på en sjampinjong og pepper tomatsaus”.
Norway boating infrastructure is very good. Lots of Harbours and at a very reasonable fee ( about €30 a day for a 15m plus). Showers and toilets are not always available. Water very potable and 16Amp connection power is available.
Routes are well mapped and marked. We use Navionics. An interesting aspect of norwegian markers in addition to the international standards. They are usually black and white structures or vertical pipes with an arrow on top indicating the safe side.
