We had a visit from the Customs at 10.00 Monday morning. At 10.45 we were out of the Marina and on our way.

We headed first for Norman reef some 35 Miles out from Cairns. We arrived there after lunch and hooked up to a mooring bouy for a last snorkeling in the Barrier Reefs.

At 15.45 we hoisted sails again and set course for PNG.

A boisterous broad reach in 25 knots of wind have pushed us 175 Miles in the last 20 hours, not fully appreciated by all the crew.
We expect to reach the halfway mark in 5 hours.
This will be one of the fastest runs ever for Dawnbreaker.

Unfortunately ( luckily) the weather gribs predict dying winds soon.

All is well,
Lars and crew (Martin, Sanna and Steve)
