June 17th Community of Kyuquot
A native community of 230 people and some none native permanent residents.
Today the town is very quiet. There is a graduation day and the locals are at school for celebration.
We moored at the public warf and a dinghy with a labrador approaches. Thomas immediately starts a conversation in search of a new 1 1/2 inch hose and connector for our latest projects. Clogged toilet arghhhh. Lars is a hero. He is the only that could endure working on this.
Erin, our new acquaintance, happens to be the owner of the only restaurant in the village and has a huge pile of hoses and connector. We are going over there as soon we measure what we need. It is a shitty job. Literally.
After a few days disconnected we expect to update our posts and emails. So far no ATT nor Verizon coverage west Vancouver Island
