Last stop before we take the shuttle over to Greenland.
We're now in Battle Harbour, a delightful old fishing spot. It began to be built in the late 18th century and until 1990 was an active fishing harbor. After that, a foundation took over and began renovating all the old buildings.
Now, Battle Harbor is a unique fishing village that attracts tourists from all over North America.
30 guests can spend the night and eat well in the restaurant located In the old salmon factory. 12 employees take care of the small community that used to be the home port for 90 fishing sons.
