Editors note: Dear Mrs. J. Bass, thank you for the lovely comments that have reached us here in the solitude of the Bering sea with only Seagulls to keep us company.
I am sad to say that the creative vein of our writer had passed away this season. We are though procuring Bob the blog to resume his position after his Caribbean Bloody Mary season.
In the meantime we will do our best to keep the stories and pictures going.
Now to the news
The crew went for a land and sea exploration st this former weather station island called Kiska. Walking main road, on knee high wet grass several war machines were identified, including antiaircraft guns as well as canons.
One would expect this to haven rotten away since WW2 but I guess this favorable climate is at fault.
On a sea portion of the mission the two man submarine derelict was not to be found but a suitable attack vessel wreck was explored.
